>The Shazam family is growing up and drifting apart. >Billy Batson is turning 18 and worries his family will abandon him once he ages out of the foster system. >Meanwhile, the Daughters of Atlas Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Kalypso (Lucy Liu) steal the Staff of Shazam to reclaim their father’s power and plan to destroy the world in revenge for his death. >Their sister Anne (Rachel Zegler) disagrees with their plan, infiltrates Billy’s school to warn him and ends up falling in love with Freddy Freeman. >Hespera and Kalypso kidnap Anne and Freddie, but the Shazam family travels to their kingdom, rescues them and brings them back to Earth. >Billy makes a truce with Hespera to give up the power of Atlas in exchange for them sparing Earth, but Kalypso refuses to accept it and attacks the city with an army of monsters. >The Shazam family confronts Kalypso, but she defeats them and kills Hespera when she attempts to intervene. >Billy battles Kalypso and unlocks his full power in order to destroy the staff. The explosion disintegrates Kalypso, but Billy also dies from the strain. >Wonder Woman attends the funeral, mends the broken staff and revives Billy, then recruits him to the Justice League. >Billy reunites with his family and decides to keep being Shazam even without his family, while Freddy and Anne begin dating.
