He’s orange and he likes lasagna

I dont have a job and hate mornings and try to avoid them

time to kick odie off the table

the strangest thing about the garfield universe: nermal is a male.

if the popcorn catches on fire just let me know

because his owner jon leaves for work on Mondays and he hates to be alone

Jon works at home tho

it's the day Jon has to start working and not be his slave all day.

That and the fate of Lyman, Jon's old roommate and Odie's true owner.
Is Jon still a cartoonist or did they change it when he started dating Liz?

i just looked it up, never knew that was his occupation..
cuck

because Jon has a job and garfield truly loves him so he's sad that Jon leaves for work again

People don't realize its meta, it's a strip about writing a cat strip. That's why Garfield "thinks" his words.

Is Nermal FtM or MtF and just misgendered because because Jon is a transphobe?

reddit tier crap npc opinion, didnt even read the source material at all, fuck off

Unfortunately because of the comic's narrow focus they don't play with it much, but it would be funny if Jon started drawing political cartoons and Garfield edited them a la Ben Garrison.

To make him relatable I guess... There's no good in-universe reason.

Major depressive disorder.

the joke of garfield is that its so blazingly unfunny that theres something funny about it. like watching a lanky nerd try to charm a beautiful woman with his irrelevant, highly particularly sense of humor. he may not be funny and she might be falling asleep, but somehow theres a strange pull to it that you cant stop watching

>that 30 or so strip long arc where Garfield and Odie get lost and go to a bunch of weird places trying to get home
I honestly felt kind of surreal reading that at the age of 12

>(Les yeux sans visage)
>EYES WITHOUT A FACE!
>GOT NO HUMAN GRACE!
>YOUR EYES WITHOUT A FACE!

the man who created him hates mondays cuz he had to write 5 new comics due by then
