Point of divergence is this space mission going right instead of wrong, leading to no third world war and no humbling of humanity.

Star Trek

CBS should do what other companies have done in the past 15 years and get a bunch of anime studios to make one off episodes of non-canon Star Trek just to see what they come up with.

They really did ENT dirty, didn't they.

They won't do that, they prefer ugly ultra cheap flash cartoons like

Sounds legit. I still hope the borg queen kills them all.

ALL THESE WORLDS
ARE YOURS
EXCEPT EUROPA
ATTEMPT NO LANDINGS THERE

Wrong. Point of divergence is Russia not managing to take Ukraine, leading to ridicule for them, leading to no WW3 as nobody take them seriously, leading to no humbling of humanity and the birth of Terran Empire.

if they're that ugly and cheap it shouldn't be too hard to make porn of them

We've already passed the point of divergence. Khan Noonien Singh led the Eugienics Wars in the 1990s and was banished to deep space.

SUBVERT AND DESTROY

I bet you weren't this angry about Einstein's cameo.

The viewership frankly did make cancellation justified, a pity is the fact that SciFi tried to save it but didn't have the money to afford it given at the time they where doing Stargate, Galactica and a few other original series. A true lost given the plans for season 5 like the Alliance moving towards being the Federation, the start of a 3 year long Earth-Romulan War arc, Shran becoming a member of the crew, and of all things a Doctor Who crossover episode to introduce Americans to the Ninth Doctor.

or Hawking's

>I bet you weren't this angry about Einstein's cameo.
Einstein was already dead, retard.
You mean Stephen Hawking.

The writing wasn't there, and also the show was neutered because it was the early 2000's.

It could survive today, provided it had better writing, aspired to be more than a G-rated family show, and didn't have the worst opening theme in the history of television

Can we get a shoop of Movie 4, but insteadnof whales inside the tank, we have tillys

The cancellation was justified because it wasn't a good show and didn't have viewership, but nothing deserves to be done as dirty as that finale did it

At least they apologised for that mistake.

>nothing deserves
An opening that bad

by 2022 standards it's so weird to have characters like Seven and T'Pol and then just ignore they look like that. I don't say this to be sexist, if you had a male character with six-pack abs and a square jawline and he was shirtless all the time, you'd also expect him to fuck. Where's the sci-fi for adults.

I've never watched the end of ENT, I was always bored out of my skull mid S3, despite numerous attempts.

What happens ?

if they can make star trek cartoons for kids, they can go the other way and make some interspecies porn.

>Where's the sci-fi for adults
Lexx

>if you had a male character with six-pack abs and a square jawline and he was shirtless all the time, you'd also expect him to fuck
So, Kirk?

DS9 and Kelvin. That is all. Goodbye.

My take is that I actually like the opening, it was a breath of fresh air after basically 14 seasons of droning orchestral music we got with DS9 and Voyager

It's not good. By this point they were on their third spin-off and had stopped trying, that's why they tried to distract you with vulcan tits.

>basic cable
Get the FUCK out

AND HE FUCKED ALL THE TIME

>it's different than what was before, so it's good
Holy shit, kill yourself

Yes. This guy fucks.

Why is current year Star Trek so full of ugly people anyway?

The animators are so lazy they couldn't even be bothered drawing breasts on naked Tendi.

every thread has a Butters

because they're on a budget and are just casting local Toronto actors instead of making an effort.

if only the internet had a way of editing things for our amusement, a rule 34 if you will

Because beauty is a privilege and it's bad because democracy and human rights. Get fat.

What's your take on the actual intended opening for Enterprise before a suit watched Patch Adams then?

The final episode of Enterprise is a TNG holodeck episode that takes place during the TNG episode "The Pegasus" except Jonathan Frakes is obviously way old and out of shape to being playing the part

It's got a number of really dumb things like Tip dying in a bombing, Shran being shredded as a character, and "Computer end program :)" right as the Founding of the Federation is about to happen

Enterprise and Voyager famously had T&A to stare at to distract you from the show being shit. They overcorrected.

I've said this many times before, I miss when old Trek hired Shakespearean actors who needed a hot meal, slathered rubber shit on their faces, and made them act the fuck out of whatever dialogue they were saying. And it was kino.

Eternal Current Year America is full of ugly people, and like parading them in front of a TV camera.

> authors trying to sell ENT whole concept to producers

This is also dumb as shit, it doesn't match with the show you're about to watch. "It's a romantic space opera about the next thing after we went to the moon" and unfortunately this trend continued into the theme for ST:D which isn't cringe but still boring.

They removed the distraction and now we can focus on the show being shit. Great.

This. Great actors can really sell any dialogue, and none of the actors on ST:D are bad, exactly, just some have more range than others.

Adherence to the Berman era formuoli is also what ended the Berman era.
You can't go back.

They made the show better there's just no tits for the plebs to stare at.

And honestly what was the point of tits anyway if every character is asexual.

There was another version I saw that used the end theme to Generations.

this sort of ties in to this:
in TNG you had Steward and Frakes and Spiner killing it every week, DS9 had just Brooks and maybe that Kardassian guy, by the time you get to Enterprise you have Bakula, vulcan tits, and a crew of literal who's

It's still dumb becacuse the visuals seem to be made by someone mentally retarded. "Look, we explored the Atlantic, and then the Moon, and now the fictional quadrant of Seti Alpha So-and-So," it makes no sense.

>They made the show better
What show ? Perma-crying Discovery with underused plot breaking tech or Picard with failed grimdark "watch an actor die on stage from old age" while other actors still wonder if the cam is rolling ?

These are the most kino actors in old Trek, I think
>Leonard Nimoy
>Patrick Stewart
>Rene Auberjonois
>David Warner
>Marc Alaimo
>Jeffrey Combs
>Robert O'Reilly
>J.G. Hertzler
>James Sloyan
>Andreas Katsulas (also kino in B5)
These actors *grab* you, even when the ones playing Klingons are simply going "muh honor"
NuTrek I guess has David Cronenberg but his character is very deadpan.
