Suppose you eat out for lunch.
How much would you be willing to pay?
For me, 1,000 yen is a standard.
If it is more than 1000 yen, I think it is a little bit expensive, and if it is less than 1000 yen I think it is reasonable.
If it is less than 1000 yen, I feel it is reasonable. 500 yen is quite inexpensive.

It depends what kind of lunch. If I was going to sit down and eat a lunch at a restaurant, I would expect to pay around $12 to $15. If I was to get fast food like a burger or a sandwich, I would probably pay about $8. All those prices include a drink as well.

It depends on the dish.
In dollars, I would never pay more than $1 per taco or more than $3 for a burger. In average $5 for a individual dish is expensive.
