Tanks are obsolete. Manned aircraft will soon also be obsolete. Tanks are just incredibly expensive pieces of junk that consume a lot of resources. Countries will stop using them for the same reason that people stopped wearing plate armor in battle: Weapons have advanced to a point where armor doesn't offer any protection. In the future it will all be low cost drones and the like for the fighting. Armored vehicles can still play a role in policing an already occupied area but that's something entirely different.
They've been obsolete since 1919, yet here we are. Tanks certainly have their uses, it is just that you have to know how to apply them to the fullest extent
I think the same thing to be honest, tanks nowadays seem to be slow moving targets, the future combat scene or whatever will probably be with smaller and faster armored vehicles, what's for sure is that wars in the world will unironically never end unless there's hopefully a global nuclear war that will wipe most of humanity if not all
