Huh? I'm single and I like this film.

Fills me with rage

its overly abstract wannabe kino imo

and she's an infp NOT infj

I watched it recently and I was torn. I love it but there’s a dissonance there in that the Paris it is set in very much does not exist, but the film isn’t presented as total fantasy, it’s presented as being set in a slightly altered reality at most. And the fantastical elements of the film can’t just be because we’re seeing from Amelie’s pov, because of stuff like her apartment she affords as a waitress. Does the director *think* Paris should be like this? Isn’t that pretty “problematic”?
Tldr I love the film, but I worry about talking about it as one of my favourite films in case I get cancelled.

What a fit girl!

Magical realism is always in the past, not the present, that’s why the film feels a bit weird

It's literally for incels. Well maybe femcels

Nothing even remotely like the Paris depicted in that movie exists today. That movie used to be a wonderful escape but now it's a horrifying wake up call to what has been lost.

It's literally just french Chungking Express.
