I'd say our usefulness has undoubtedly fallen off in recent years especially since the stuff we specialize in like wars has become taboo in the US, but its still good to have allies overseas, especially for a superpower like the US

I'll put it like this, think of germany or south korea for example, they don't get military aid money like is per se, but they US has troops and bases stationed in those countries, meanwhile the US has zero troops or bases here, those bases in germany and south korea cost way more to maintain than the 3 billion we get yearly, doubly so if you consider the fact that they are basically taking care of their citizens thousands of miles away. so that money we get is basically in place of having proper US military here and getting no aid

Not just that but they also resurrected the Hebrew language and made it the common language. This is no easy task.

I don't like how people credit the revival of the hebrew language to the entire nation, sure it was a cooperative effort but at first a lot of people resisted it believe it or not, it was mostly the work of a single linguist, elieezer ben yehuda

Israel is unsustainable over time, and unfortunately the ones who will suffer will not be the ones who engineered it all. Whoever designed it all lives around the world with his quiet, rich son, enjoying life.
