wtf india
worse than Afghanistan, really?

Yep. India is worse than Afghanistan and Somalia for women.

We hate women

number 1 as always
we can't stop winning bros

>be women
>complain you can't vote
>wah wah wah we want vote
>ok vote
>vote for liberalism, muh rights, their rights, white male ebil
>get beat and rape by black male now
Oof

Why did the rest of the world only start hearing about the rapiness and street shitting in India after Modi won in 2014? Was his predecessors better at hiding it?

How are countries Egypt not worse than the US here? I get that there are still serious problems for women even in developed countries, but I find it very hard to believe the US makes the top 10

Chad move

It was an opinion poll. It asked each respondent to rank the worst 5. How the U.S. and India could be in the worst 5 of anything is beyond me. On the list they are the two countries that keep the best most reliable statistics on female violence and encourage the best reporting (even if far from perfect self-reporting). There's no transparency in who the people surveyed were, and the fact that these are all "well-known" countries in the first world is just one reason why this is obvious bullshit.

yeah cause i'm sure literally every other african country not already listed is an absolute heaven for women, what a retarded ranking and obviously not biased at all.

The technological revolution and its consequences have been disastrous for India's international reputations

Also a 2018 poll, so pre-Taliban takeover.

The BBC got hold of a respondent:
>"It's not about the ranking. Our society is ruled by misogyny and patriarchy," Zakia Soman, a women's rights activist who was also one of the experts surveyed, told the BBC.
>She added that no-one expects women to have an easy life in countries such as Somalia or Saudi Arabia. But they do expect something more from a democracy like India.

Ok. So she's basically saying the ranking is meaningless bullshit then.

kek

next time i hear some bengali woman cry about how they get gangraped and they cant walk in the streets alone, im going to tell them to shut the fuck up and check their privilege.

>The BBC got hold of a respondent:
You just know

Have you ever been outside of America? American men are like saints compared to other countries on the list. There are definitely some issues but it's pretty good to be a woman here

Chud cope

know what? Literally everything they did is laid out in the article.
