Why are the romance languages all exactly the same?

Meanwhile the germanic languages are all different

>English:
I have shown many times that my ability to write is better than yours

>dude
you're british

yeah I know

>Bro I'm stuck in a lone as fuck language
>This makes me superior in some way I swear
We laugh at you and make mutually inteligible jokes about you speaking a French rapebavy language

all germanic languages come from proto-germanic which was spoken around the same time as latin

Nice teeth you have there Mr Nigel

probably since latin languages were literate for longer than germanic languages this meant less drift

cheers mate

not really, finnish and hungarian are not even close to german

You're welcome

>mexican education

poor romanians, always forgotten

Yeah, that why all we should learn Latin

Chinese isn't close to Latin either idiot

vghh this is how byzantines sounded

before learning french i only understood half of portuguese

>romanian flag in OP
>forgets about romania
its okay dracula bros

Transylvania is rightful Hungarian clay.

Latin derivatives sound the same because the Romans had education systems that standardized the language across vast reaches. Germanics were more isolated from each other

It's pretty amazing. An Italian could read Dante with almost no trouble

Thats because you use higher brain functions
