soul

I need to haul hay, water tank, lumber, livestock, etc. How will I do that in some faggy limey wagon or other eurotrash girl car?

especially in the south yes, i see these types of trucks all the time on the road. my cousin even has 2 of them

There's literally nothing wrong with people who actually need to haul tons of stuff owning a truck.

What irks me is that I know plenty of people who own a truck despite having no need of it that a conventional sedan can't accomplish. Why does a guy who drives his pickup to his coding job who hasn't used it to haul shit need one?

>I need to haul hay, water tank, lumber, livestock, etc.
Most americans don't. They live in suburbs and don't need this ridiculous thing.

You must be a fresh off the boat immigrant. Here in North America we can buy whatever car we want

>euros be like nooooo you can’t just buy what you want you need to meet certain requirements

You will never understand freedom

>hay
trailer behind tractor, atv or car
>water tank
same -atv or call a trucker with a crane, you do have friends you exchange such services with, right?
>lumber
same as above depending on size of load
>livestock
again, the same maybe call a cattle truck
t. farmer and never have we needed a pickup. not like you can haul anything of what you just said in the 5 foot bed of a modern double cab anyway.

Maybe they like driving a truck?
It's not like Americans are the only ones who buy vehicles they don't "need," just look at yuros and wagons.

ironic then that we have full freedom when choosing cars and you dont

Yes, Americans and cartels.

Mental how some Americans seem to think big trucks are luxury vehicles. On this side of the Atlantic "luxury vehicle" means a Ferrari or Porsche.

Who cares what you use it for? My DD honda gets the same MPG as the OP truck so that doesn't really matter, except the truck can haul stuff and go offroad better when you need it. My 2003 ford 4x4 SUV gets about 12 mpg but it can go anywhere so it's my camping/hunting/offroad rig.

>Do americans really buy these
Yeah it's the ultimate form of cope. Plenty of americans need this type of vehicle especially if they're out in the boondocks, but I've seen urban high schoolers driving these around. It's fucking nuts.

We call those supercars

I'm not going to haul the horse trailer with a fucking Saab. I can't fit 4x8 sheet rock in a Volvo.

10 years ago boomers were saying exactly the same thing

these are cool
those pickup trucks are not

why dont u mind ur own business

and it was true then, too. 2012/2013 is the absolute limit on most cars before the nannyshit is too invasive

Trump voters and soccer moms own these.

most suv's can haul the same 3500kg on the ball, unless you need gooseneck or fifth wheel thats a different thing that never really chaught on here.
shure you can fit 4x8 on a volvo, ever heard of a roof rack?
