I would like to know.

Idk. Ive had the same 4 songs stuck in my head for about a year

what?

Feel like historically British music has been loved worldwide but recently it’s not as good as it should be, though guess considering we’re a small country it still does well

I like black midi and the bands in that scene

When I think of England, I think of skepta and dua lipa.

This is the hip hop community.

Dua Lipa is British? Wtf had no idea

close enough.

bump

I'm glad that the UK still punches way above its weight worldwide but I think it's a shame that that British touch has gone from a lot, which is a shame

I feel lucky that the kind of music I really love (acid) is very English and people here still make it

The music industry has become shrank due to the loss of popularity. All tv and radio companies collide with some influential production companies and that's the problem.

I have absolutely no interest in it

why would anyone care about music anymore now that electronic games, streaming video, and political outrage porn have reached their current heights of perfection and affordability?

Music is the only thing we produce of note. And it sucks

there are still plenty of british artists in many different genres but ultimately music has changed. it's not as ubiqutous anymore, people have their niches and listen to that now thanks to streaming/internet. mainstream is just pop now and there have been many big uk artists in that sphere, but there aren't defined genres/movemen ts like their once was. although hyperpop has certainly had its influence on popular music in the past 5 years for better or worse and it has its origins in london with charli xcx , sophie and ag cook and pc music.

in many ways i think music is nearing complete saturation. there are only so many notes and arrangements.

90% love songs with predictable melodies

doesn't exist afaiac

>ywn go to a bri'ish illegal warehouse rave
why even live bros, it's all folk or latin shit here

Honestly getting better.
