Nope, at least in Europe you can have a reasonable quality life as long as you have a job. You can have healthcare, housing, time off, and work-life balance. You can save and know that you will be able to retire one day. You can take time off and travel or just relax. You can get all your medical needs taken care of.
None of that is possible here for the average American worker.
