The Tommy lee actor is brilliant. Absolutely nails his mannerisms. Everything else is trash. Seth Rogan takes up way too much screen time, the whole show has his stench on it: badly shoehorned feminism mixed with edgy 00s toilet humor. The worst part of it is how wrong they got the mid 90s. I lived through that time and the amount of anachronisms is really distracting. The soundtrack is shit too. It’s full of old school soul music in places that it doesn’t fit. There’s one scene where the title “1989” comes on the screen and they play a fucking big star song. Big star is one of my favorite bands but that song is from 1971. It should have been a Whitesnake song or a Whitney Houston song. Lazy bastards. 1.5/10
