Have dual mexican/US citizenship

>have dual mexican/US citizenship
>work in USA, but prefer living in Mexico
>look into jobs in my career field here in MX
>I'd be earning at best 1/4 of what I make in the USA and likely even less

It's a grim life lads, the heart wants one thing but practicality all but forces you to choose the other

just save enough to buy three apartments, live in one amd rent the other two

why do you prefer living in mexico?
srs, i think it might be time for me to get out of america

Wasn't the average wage in Monterrey like close to 50k USD ten years ago, what is it like today?

Mental illness or racial pride

Isn't the cost of living cheaper in Mexico? Save money, buy a house, and enjoy your life in Mexico.

It was actually like $35k ten years ago. Now it's a bit over $50k. It would have grown more but narco shit slowed growth for a period.

For me it was to do with familial/religious/cultural reasons
I'm not sure to be honest, but for example I can make anywhere between 60-90k/year as a truck driver in the US depending on what kind of routes I want to drive and how hard I want to work. After some quick research I found I'd be making about 12-20k doing the same work here. And if I wanted to do long distance driving I'd have to take the insecurity in the country into account as well.
Yeah that's an option, but I'm also thinking into the future with my decision. I don't want my kids to be doomed to a future of poverty either. Although I guess if they're dual citizens too they might also have the option of studying/working in the US

Just leverage your situation to get the best of both worlds. Earn in dollars and live in Mexico where everything's cheaper

That place is an absolute shithole, even the shitiest American town is nicer than that incest ranch

The only difference between Mexico and Southwestern states is that you have lower chances to get kidnapped and severely tortured to death by cartels.

I am originally from CDMX and am currently living in that sad excuse of a """""""city""""""". Find a better cope, those images, they don't look good AT ALL

People in that city are well know for marrying their cousins, and its infrastructure is minimal, most of the place is Mad Max tier

you learn something new everyday

He meant inbreed barn
>Ranch -> rancho = Barn / rural farming/ horses place

Monterrey is okay, its like Huston if huston was 4-5 times smaller/ poorer

Not bad but nothing special in comparison to american cities

>Ranch -> rancho = Barn
Rancho ≠ Barn btw
Barn = granero
