what are the tenets of this religion? Keep in mind, I am hesitant to believe in a religion that believes in human/animal sacrifices and circumcision, so any Abrahamic religion that believes in these two things are off limits to me as a Chinese person.

No as a Chinese, Jainism is not reasonable to me. Salvation comes from detachment from the world - not from generating good karma like the Jains believe. This is what the Buddha preaches.

Ever since the Meiji restoration, the Japanese government has allowed Buddhist monks to eat meat, drink alcohol, and have sex with women.
This is NOT what the Buddha preaches, and in fact, monks getting married and having sex with wives, is one of the signs buddha said would signify the decline of the dharma.
In China, Chinese Buddhist monks still are vegetarian, dont drink alcohol, and remain celibate as the Buddha originally preached.
Japan just uses traditional Buddhist aesthetics to look pretty on the outside, but on the inside, there is nothing.

first religion of that type to reach east asia, not to mention east asian manics developed some rituals and practices unique to their own cultures.
Manichaeans venerate Adam, Seth. Enoch, Noah, Zoroaster, Buddha, Jesus, and Mani as prophets- but they dont honor Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses as prophets, so Manichaeism is not really that Abrahamic.
