If you think pic related has ever made any film even as half as good as my top 10, you're literally a fanboy cuck

What are your top 10? I've seen about 90% of the Marty kinography so I can make a recommendation.

My top 10:
>1. Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles (1975)
>2. India Song (1975)
>3. Last Year at Marienbad (1961)
>4. L'avventura (1960)
>5. Werckmeister Harmonies (2000)
>6. The Tree of Life (2011)
>7. Holy Motors (2012)
>8. L'humanité (1999)
>9. Mother and Son (1997)
>10. The Quince Tree Sun (1992)

Any more questions? Literally all masterpieces, Scorcese is a certified hack

never heard about any of those. if they are so good why does no one know about them?

French noir rip off con artist

It's funny because it's true.

You don't know about them because you enjoy the inferior derivatives

the godfather movies were good

>le tough mafiosos actually have a moral code
Is there a more overrated piece of trash than this? When I was in film school the alumni and I laughed this garbage out of the building. The french noir it rips off is superior in every way. Coppola is a fucking hack.

but look at books. there are many hard and artsy books, but they are also fairly well known. People do know about pride and prejudice and it its wonderfull language work despite its cringy story. but you movies remain in obscurity. Logical conclusion is, they are not that good

>le tough mafiosos actually have a moral code
that wasnt in godfather at all user

Literally never heard of any of those except Tree of Life. It sounds more like you're into a different style of film than what Marty offers, which is basically kinocinema while your list is maybe more about the artistic moving picture.

The only logical conclusion to be made here is that you spend your time pumping up a old codgy hack who made his fortunes ripping off superior cinema. Him and Tarantino will go down in Hollywood as the biggest disgraces once more people become aware of their entire filmography being 1:1 rip offs of French noir

Rewatch it again, Scorseseshill

Forgot my recs:
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore
Last Temptation of Christ
King of Comedy
After Hours
Raging Bull
Silence

They're all incredibly superior flicks, and they are actually diverse, not just "le tough mafia men are actually good guys deep down"

Ok, see my list above your post.

Fuck off already marvel transexual this is a /marty/ board

Yup, all mafioso fantasy flicks, and all have elements directly lifted from French noir, which Scorsese failed to do.

Here's a picture of the only good Scorsese film.

i would agree with tarantino being a faggot but scorcesi is comfy. and definetly better than you wierd list. and i am talking about his good movies like casino, goodfellas, irishman and wolf. Not the gay shit like cape fear, raging bull or silence.
I am not saying french cant do good movies, for example asterix is both great and well known, its just your list and french noir being irrelevant to kino

Like I said, I've seen 90% of ol' Marty's Kinocinema but that is clearly fake.

>Mother and son
Is this one of those good, wholesome movies about incest? I like those.

The only thing irrelevant to kino, is any Scorsese film. It's quite literally the opposite of good cinema.

holy motors

It's as real as Martin's talent.

again, if your movies are kino why has no one seen them?
they are not kino, they are boring preachy and visualy unapealing

>they are not kino, they are boring preachy and visualy unapealing
Good summary of Scorsese's "films"

you sound incredibly buttflustered and Scorsese success lives rent free in your spastic head ahahahahahahhahah

so you are not going to naswer my question right?

"No one" meaning no one you personally know, and unsuprisingly, the same people that haven't seen them like Scorsese. It's truly a testament to inferior cinemaphiles liking inferior films. Simple as that.
The 80th mafia movie wasn't enough, Marty?

your tears are delicious

Attached: pepelick.png (1494x1002, 241.54K)

Your films are embarrassingly bad

>"No one" meaning no one you personally know
how many people who are not film students/internet movie autists do you know that have seen those movies? and again my pride and prejudice example still stands
