Do people really drink on workdays?

i recently got super into tiki stuff, and just spent a lot of money getting stuff for all sorts of tiki drinks and let me tell you its fucking awesome and i love it

Every night is an exaggeration. Realistically though it was 5-6 nights a week. Up until 6 months ago the lingest stretch without booze I had in that time was 4 days.

the old guy at work told us when he worked as a train engineer back in the 70s-80s, everyone working on the train would bring 2 bottles of booze for their trip to the destination, and then another 2 for the trip back.
I'm surprised there weren't more incidents recorded.
