yjk

its beautiful nature, truly desolate areas and fuck it, who doesnt want to experience lions and elephants walking through their camp?
dangerous? nah not really, more likely to experience crime in any big city and wild animals are suprisingly well adjusted to humans, we are neither a threath nor easy snack to them as long as you dont present yourself as that.
>watching african safari and overland videos on youtube right now while cursing this snow covered and barren shithole i live in

I'm not white (see flag) but I kind of want to, it'd be neat to see wild African animals in their "natural" habitats. I'm sure it's relatively safe too considering so many Western tourists do it.

>tfw white women would rather fuck animals than you

They are crazy. I've never met a brazilian who even considered going to the amazon rainforest, but whitoids often go there to do god knows what.

the average western european would give their soul to be a colonizer

>snow covered and barren shithole i live in

Thought it was more temperate. Is it true its mostly bog and flat ?

Well, the natural destiny would be LatAm, but unlike majority of Africa, we not know English and Africa yes

Mano tenha certeza que a maioria deles é de “ONGs” (ou seja, biopiratas)

(Bro be sure that the MAJORITY of them belong to “NGOs” (I.e. biopirates) )

I see people taking pics with animals and I know the ones at the zoo are used to humans, maybe in protected areas too but still

Tourism aka trafic of "tooth of elephant"

I've done it and it's fun to check off animals you spot even though 90% are just impalas

pic taken today, does this look flat or temperate to you? this is basicly my favourite hiking locations, guess that will have to wait another month atleast.
>bog
not really but they exist, rarely of the impassable kind

Some even travel the desert solo or with local tribesmen, wacky

You just

because it has unique flora and fauna you idiot

Do they really?

>wild animals are suprisingly well adjusted to humans,
Elephants often ransack farms.

It's typically for people who've already been 'everywhere' (the US, all major EU countries, Asia, Latin America, some even the Middle East) and have too much money to spent (ironically, travelling to Africa is more expensive than to rich areas).

Also the thing about many preserves are that they aren't exactly ethical. Many came from a colony seizing land and forcing people out, the post-colonial state doing that or Foreign NGOs doing so in various ways. One thing a lot of foreign landowners do is sell their land to these preserves or make one out it do the people who originally lived on it ate severely screwed over

>travelling to Africa is more expensive than to rich areas).
Only if you go for the premium stuff granted many still do that so I am arguing semantics

Unironically, the safaris are helping the animals survive since it's a source of income for the villagers. If not, the animals would have become Chinese dick medicine.

>the safaris are helping the animals survive
That is actually pretty dubious. Especially when many if them are solely for profit or prefer certain animals over others. Also the profit locals get is pretty slim and not that good.
