>it's a good show if you don't watch it
thanks I won't

It's a good show if you skip the filler and stop watching before it turns into wokeshit.

Does anyone know where to watch the movie? It was on HBO, but they took it off.

man character gets fucked by a Turk in episode 1

why did they kill off the only attractive female on the show?

>deleting anything except Mary the bitch's drawn out whining about how persecuted she is and her multiple happy endings, including the finale where Barrow's tragedy is just used to make Mary look like a better person

>man character
lel

But it's ok, user, she only gets fucked in the ass, so it doesn't count.

She decided to leave.

Barrow's attempted suicide and Mary being the only one who gives a shit about him trying to kill himself is supposed to be super black irony: Thomas was the man who instigated Mary being raped by taking the Turk to her room so he could assault her, causing her bad reputation and scandal that drove most of the first couple of seasons worth of troubles.

Mary defending her rapist's accomplice is supposed to be the super dark humor, since if she knew the truth, she'd have personally killed Thomas himself if not personally called the police to have him arrested for being gay.

>whyyyyyyyy you smelled miiine, come on let me smeeeeell it, it'll be funny!

Was there a reason Tom (the commie Mick inlaw) and Mary never got together? They kept teasing them hooking up but it never happened.

>rape
Bitch wanted to have sex without a scandal but then the stupid fuck died in her bed and ruined it for her. At no point was it about a rape scenario that Barrow was a guilty party of. What the fuck.

Who were /bestgirls/ and why was it Sybil and Rose?

Odd, why would she leave a mealticket show like that? Was the producer raping her?

The showrunner basically said, once Tom married Sybil and she died in childbirth, Tom effectively became off limits as a widower to the sisters and effectively became a brother to Mary and Edith; granted one who neither had to worry about stealing the estate/fortune from them.

Which is a bit of a weird thing to say since they teased Edith and Tom just as much as they teased Mary and Tom. And from a storyline standpoint, a lot of the family's troubles could have been resolved if they simply had Tom marry Edith both to deal with Edith's out of wedlock pregnancy and to keep Tom on the estate with his daughter.

Daily reminder that Tom Branson, the enlightened commie, was the only person who had a major fucking cow over Rose dating a black man.

Also the black guy immediately pegged Rose as having MASSIVE mommy/daddy issues (her mom was a cold, unloving cunt and her daddy had a mistress and was never there for Rose) and dumped her the second he realized he was just being used to try and get a reaction out of Rose's mommy and daddy.

Both her and the guy who played Matthew wanted to leave the show to try their luck at movies.

In Sybil's actor's case, she had a decent reason for wanting to leave as they were phasing her character out from series regular to guest star in S3. So she bailed, forcing them to write out her character by killing her off and ironically, ended up getting Allen Leech bumped up to series regular from that point forward, since the show runners felt sorry he got screwed over by the actress quitting.

But the guy that played Matthew, he full on hated the show and wanted to make movies full time. So he bailed, fucking up the entire arc of the show and causing them to have to scramble in the later seasons to keep it going.

Is there a reason they didn't just recast Sybil and Matthew?

Older prime time soaps used to do it all the time......
