most companies will reevaluate your working arrangement if you can get through 6 months and prove you are trustworthy enough to work remotely, especially if you are a senior dev. A good senior dev on their worst day is worth 2-3 juniors.

Went to a proper neek uni and they legit started us on C. Their reasoning was that once you’ve learned C the rest will be a breeze. They were are right tbf but still wouldn’t recommend it for self learning since it’s so autistic, try Python, C# or JavaScript

1.download a code editor
2. watch YT vids to get the basics covered
3. watch more YT vids to get the advanced shit covered
4. complete existing exercises in that language (eg the fizz-buzz exercise which is a classic for any language and an extremely common job interview Q)
5. Finally (and this is the most effective), come up with something you want to be produced and then produce it. It can be football related/politics related/any interest at all and just write out the code to make it happen.

Follow these 5 steps and you'll smash it simple as.
