just 1gbp, no point going any faster because of tech constraints and 10GBe network cards are still pretty expensive. we pay $90 a month for it which is about average in NZ, govt owns pretty much all the fixed telecom infrastructure so price is roughly all the same no matter who your ISP is

$2k is crazy, equivalent business connection here is about $270 a month
