I hear a lot of Ukrainian on the streets in Warsaw. I knew a few Ukrainian students from before the war, they were alright, it's impressive how quickly they learn Polish.
Right now there's probably issues with housing for all those people, as user mentioned before me, the new refugees are largely just living with some families that had pledged to take them in, and it seems to be working well so far, but it's obviously a temporary solution. I'm certain a lot of them are counting on the war ending soon and being able to go back, but I wouldn't be surprised if many were also looking into permanent stay.
