Do you think that taking the capital will suddenly end the war? This isn’t a video game. I expect their will be resistance even if Russians occupy the whole country, and the way their military is falling apart this is an absolute nightmare scenario. The fact that the Russians are negotiating in any capacity is a sign of massive weakness.
