Why are horror films and shows so SHIT...

Why are horror films and shows so SHIT? My mom is a huge horror freak and every time I've tried watching a film it has been utterly fucking disappointing. Pic related and maybe a few others like the Quiet Place films are the only good horror stuff I've seen in recent times. (Don't breathe and Orphan were nice but stuff like that is more thriller than horror so they don't count).
Recommend me some actually good horror films that deal with GHOSTS, not cults and shit like Midsommar. I'm looking for actual GHOST stories that's also good.

This nigga watches marvel movies

Yes, and?
Black Panther and Captain America Winter Soldier are my favorite MCU films.

Horror is pretty subjective, user. It's also pretty broad in scope.

If you like Hill House, you may like Bly Manor, but a lot didn't.

This sucked watch Stephen king's Rose Red instead it's kino

Midnight Mass was better

Ending kind of sucked.

Try stuff from James Wan, Conjuring, Insidious, Annabelle. I personally hate these shit movies with their fucking jumpscares every 5 minutes, but I got to give it to them, it's always genuine ghosts, not some metaphors for depression or some shit.

horror is quite possibly the worst genre in film

i'd honestly rate most romcoms above most horror movies

It has the highest shit to kino ratio. That's only because it's the most popular genre.

There's a general lack of creative talent in Hollywood right now, millennials have failed as creators bc those who got the jobs are mediocrities, often hired for the wrong reasons (diversity, sjw pandering etc).
As for horror specifically, it's fanboys pretending to be authors who make boring, tryhard stuff that ranges from underwhelming to awful. Case in point: Mike Flanagan.

Guy asked for recs, not your assessment on current Hollywood. Give him some great movies since your taste is so stellar.

? Hill House was incredibly boring. The jumpscares stop being good after episode 3.

if you don't like midnight mass,go fuck yourself.

Its just really fucking nauseating to have to share a site with low iq teenagers is all

>sad ending bad

It was sad for the sake of being sad. Everyone dies? Fine. Girl being crippled again? Just needless.

Also, why didn't he doctor just suggest iron supplements?

Why are porn films and shows so SHIT? My mom is a huge porn freak and every time I've tried watching a porno with her it has been utterly fucking disappointing. Pic related and maybe a few others like the Shoplyfter films are the only good porn stuff I've seen in recent times. (Breathplay and Step-Orphan-Sex are nice but stuff like that is more thriller than porn so they don't count).

Recommend me some actually good porn films that deal with WHITE PEOPLE, not cults and shit like interracial gang-bangs. I'm looking for actual PORN stories that's also good.

What makes you think I care what you or him expect, shithead?
Here are some excellent horror movies, now STFU and go watch them:
The Uninvited (44)
The Haunting (63)
Burnt Offerings
Schalcken the Painter

>4 total shit movies
As expected.

Modern entertainment is garbage. You have to go older. Here are some:
>The Innocents (1961)
>Candyman (1992)
>The Fog (1980)
>The Changeling (1980)
>The Beyond (1981)
>Ringu (1998) OR The Ring (2002)
>Ju-On: The Grudge (2002)
>The Orphanage (2007)
>Oculus (2013)

You have terrible taste in movies (if you have seen those at all, which is doubtful). Regardless, leave this board forever and stick to reddit/midwit netflix dreck.

>lists the most memed movies in the horror genre after googling them
>tells someone else they have bad taste
You're a joke, kiddo.

You're mediocre. I hit a spot didn't I?

>imagine thinking this isn't kino
