It gets better in season 2. There's an episode where Saul tries to bring up a lawsuit against Hector Odanishi. Turns out Saul has connections to the CIA, and I won't spoil it from theere. Just watch season 2 going in blind

literally "NOTHING HAPPENS: THE SHOW" 90% of the time

it's slow burn

OP do NOT read this spoiler.

hello, reddit.

>nothing happens

It's a shit show. It's just Saul bumbling around getting into comedic but "serious" situations with fanservice thrown in between

It's a slowburn user

>breaking bad seasons 3 & 4 have the same narrative arc and events as seasons 1 & 2.
>breaking bad seasons 5 & 6 have the same narrative arc and events as seasons 3 & 4.
>breaking bad seasons 7 & 8 have the same narrative arc and events as seasons 5 & 6.
>better call saul seasons 3 & 4 have the same narrative arc and events as seasons 1 & 2.
>better call saul seasons 5 & 6 have the same narrative arc and events as seasons 3 & 4.
if you keep falling for it, its literally your own fault.

its only worth watching for Chuck. no character is more based or sneeded.

>watch show based on better caul saul
>its about an lawyer called Jimmy
This was the second worst bait tv has made me watch

scene was total insanity

explain even though no

>>its about an lawyer called Jimmy
In Breaking Bad he quite literally said that the name "Saul Goodman" is a fake name, his real name ending on "Mcgill"

You have to know the lore of everything first before making complaints

Season 5 episode 8 is the only good episode beside the pilot

>i-is THIS the heckin moment where he truly becomes saul!?!

what the FUCK was his problem?

I love that this capeshit and zoomer board continually gets filtered by this show. It reminds me how great the show is.

Envy incarnate, also incredibly mentally ill and a sociopath

before creating these contrarian threads.
list 10 series better than breaking bad/better call saul.
cant list 10 = contrarian opinions discarded

breaking bad season 1 and 2
>walter and jesse set up a meth lab, but they end up having to abandon it and dont make much money. they also kill a rival meth king.
breaking bad season 3 and 4
>walter and jesse set up le new meth lab but the end up having to abandon it and also end up having to give up a lot of their money again. back to le beginning again. they also kill a rival meth king.
breaking bad season 5 and 6
>this time the meth lab is even biggerer and betterer. walter and jesse end up killing their boss though woospies so all the money is pretty much gone. their boss was the rival meth king this time.
breaking bad season 7 and 8
>this time its jesses meth lab but hes a slave so he doesnt make any money from it. walter eventually comes along and kills the rival meth kings who were stealing all of jesses meth money. yippee.
better call saul season 1 and 2
>wow saul got the good case and now his law office is popping off hes going to upgrade it but woospie chuck fucked him so now he has to fuck chuck over and kim hates him.
better call saul season 3 and 4
>saul got an even biggerer and betterer case and now he gets to work for the big law firm. but chuck fucked him so he has to quit to fuck chuck back. now kim really hates him.
better call saul season 5 and 6
>wow saul is merging offices with kim but look out hes called saul goodman now and kim hates that. but his saul goodman business is still more satisfying for him. chuck fucked him and kim hates him for killing chuck back. now theyre reluctantly married waow.
if you dont see how formulaic the shows are youre never gonna make it

man homie there ain't even that many seasons of Breaking Bad, g. ?

tl;dr walter has to always cook meth and saul always has to be a lawyer so theres never any risk that anything will get in the way of either for long.
for "drama" you get the pattern of business/relationship looks good -> characters get fucked with by side characters -> characters retaliate against side characters -> business/relationship turns south

for brba and bcs this happens over 2 season arcs, but its the same story, told over and over and over with different window dressing :)

hope you like floral curtains

Would you rather leave the reddit hivemind of yummy slow burn nu-court fag drama and watch a gripping thriller/noir with a resolution by the end of each episode about the most capable and charismatic lawyer who's ever existed fighting crime in a world of traditional gender roles and upstanding wholesome moral fiber?

literally doesnt make a difference if one of the two season arcs was shorter. its still the same pattern and youre a retard if you cant see it.

stop masturbating and lower your baseline dopamine levels

>Show about a man cooking meth, something he wanted to do for money
>"wtf why does he cook meth"
Also what the fuck do you expect them to do with these characters who like their profession? Make saul a veterinarian or something?
