I don't get it

You're telling me that some rinkydink facility on some hidden ocean world was capable of making six million clones in the span of less than a few decades? All in a galactic total war on multiple fronts nonetheless? The math just doesn't add up.

India is more rinky dink and makes way more clones than that in a single decade let alone 3-4

>6 millions
He could have gone with a more logical number for fighting a galactic war like 2 billion but he instead chose to make it specifically 6 million
Based George

>he says 600, i say 6 million

First this creature and then six million? Maybe George was our guy after all?

Star Wars are extremely dissapointing when it comes to scale, especially nu-Star Wars.

>GIGANTIC HUGE GALACTIC WAR
>yeah we got uhh... a few hundred thousand soldiers....

how 'bout ships?

>yeah lets show like 3 ships on screen
>GIGANTIC GALACTIC MEGA WAR

Star Trek had better battle scenes and the franchise hates action scenes.

It's almost as if the setting only served as a device in which to tell an opera in space. George never foresaw it going past the first movie. It's disappointing that even the other writers didn't right those wrongs though.

i almost left the cinema when i saw how X-wings in Nu-SW are firing nukes with their tiny pew-pew lazors.
>when X-wings shoot soldiers on the ground, its like a firecracker
>when X-wings shoot at Star Destroyers, the explosions are the size of a mountain and 3 hits from an X-wing blow the entire 2km ship to pieces.

Whats the point of using anything else than a fighter in SW?

I thought that star wars was supposed to mimic WW2 and that during WW2 specifically, air power showed it's capabilities, out surpassing battleships. It is a grand wonder that all capital ships in star wars even have massive cannons when fighters do basically all the work. The sequels lost the plot in so many ways and the ship designs are but a small reminder of that. Totally agree on the fighters shoot nukes in space combat but firecrackers on the ground when strafing. That's such poor writing/design.

its been decades and i still dont know how shields work in SW.
it just doesnt make a lick of sense, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont.
whats the point of shields if 1 tiny fighter can just.... completely fucking ignore it like it didnt exist, shoot the shield generator once, and buh-bye.
i love the franchise for its character development and saber-fights, but everything space-related in Star Wars is beyond god damn retarded.

I completely agree. Shields don't exist as soon as the plot doesn't want them to. Take episode 6 for example. The star destroyers get their shield generators (that look like giant balls on the top of their ships, exposed nonetheless) destroyed by fighter craft. Do the shields not extend to cover the fucking generators that generate them? Why the fuck are they exposed and not internal and protected? Does the sperm need to be kept cool or something and the ship is too hot internally????

the 'clone war' should have stayed as color dialog

even better - the Last Jedi movie would last 30 seconds instead of 3 hours if the Dreadnought fired on the stationary rebel flagship parked in orbit, instead of the base on the ground.
>movie starts
>shoot rebel flagship, everyone dies
>roll credits

Evil chuds like the empire aren't very smart. This is why they will often run at women with their guns instead of just shooting them.

>The math just doesn't add up.
What math?

You haven't presented any math that couldn't or could add up.

Begun, the Poo Wars have.

Gotta give props to TLJ, they at least brought back some Japanese influence, albeit while fucking with the lore even further

The entire planet is specialised towards cloning operations. Cities are scattered all across the surface and are filled to the brim with cloning tanks and training facilities, including entire all-weather simulator fields if the Complete Locations book is to be believed.

Making clones is all Camino is known for.

>be cloners
>clone clones with infrastructure for cloning you used for cloning already
>confuses OP despite the fact that 6 million is literally nothing compared to a fucking galaxy
/thread

What do they do when the government of the entire galaxy isn't trying to build a galaxy-spanning army?
