Soulless. And embarrassing

it was onions

Chuckhead

rather watch black and white felix the cat

Corrupt, a plea for free will. An irresponsible horror show

>Felix the Cat is a children's comedy cartoon character created in 1919 by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer during the silent film era. An anthropomorphic black cat with white eyes, a black body, and a giant grin, he was one of the most recognized cartoon characters in film history.
>over a hundred years old
damn, based. never heard of it before.

Cuphead literally ripped off Felix the Cats art style.

>kids got to watch this kino growing up before dying in WW2
lucky bastids.

Zoom

Felix wasn't the only cartoon with that sort of style, old Betty Boop and other cartoons of the era were very similar too.

>felix kills all of the ghosts that died of boredom listening to bold king cole.
uhhhh... 30's were weird.

Aren’t they based on the old timey cartoons where the main characters are mainly silent? Why did they give them goofy voices and turn them into retards?

yeah but it is pretty deliberately using the flex animator style, and felix the cat was kinda morbid in their story telling.

The game was shit too.
>inb4 screetching

They weren’t trying to hide it. They wanted to emulate old timey cartoons, hence the music

my aunt bought me a VHS of these felix the cat classics when I was a child.

get good faggot

t. IGN 'video game reviewer'

Don't care, didn't watch, not going to watch
Go back to making video games, you fucking retarded hacks. Literally no one saw Cuphead and thought it would make an interesting cartoon.

this is absolute kino

lots of early Disney elements too.

Felix the Cat had a great NES video game that mogged every other game.

cartoons are for trannies

These 100 year old cartoons make new cartoons look like amateur shit.
This is all hand drawn smooth animation, just visually the animation is miles ahead of the things Californian troons create today. But it also has unique soundtrack for every single scene that responds to every scene, every movement. Every beat of the song syncs up with the animation and it still sounds like a good song. Absolutely no one does this or could do this today. Imagine getting an orchestra in 2021 and trying to create unique good sounding music that syncs up with the animation. 41% of the people involved would kill themselves.

wtf they showed bare mermaid tits.

fpbp

Lifeless, missing what made the game's design so spectacular. Reminds of John K's independent animation projects which are all stilted horrible shit with too much motion in all the wrong places.

Dumbass zoomer.
