When it's done right, anime provides an experience that's completely different to live action and can be superior. But they're few and far between.

Berserk has beatiful art and the story and themes work perfectly, AOT has a good story and an great soundtrack that elevates it a lot

In recent years it’s generally much better than TV. We’ve gotten a few good movies but most of what Hollywood churns out these days is trash and inferior to the average anime.
