Of course, pretty much all artists have some kind of perverse undertone to their work; or at least a side of their work that they segregate. Think about the amount of nudes that exist in classical art and sculpture. Artists are obsessed with form. The human form is one of the most beautiful forms to exist, and the female form in particular is spectacular. So yeah, the artists would have intentionally drawn Chel in her beautiful curvy form. They'd probably do it more often if they were allowed and the west didn't so fear and censor the naked form. Sadly, one of the pitfalls of Catholicism.
