Jake was real good at acting annoyed by Amir. I really thought he couldn't stand him at times, he seemed genuinely annoyed.

They did that classic straight man/funny man dynamic better than anyone. Nothing would make me laugh more than when Amir would say something absolutely insane shit and then Jake would try to dissect it, only to give up because Amir had already moved on to the next insane statement.

it was a better time when podcasts didn't mean assholes talking to each other for 3 hours. I was always happy when I'd update it w/ itunes and see a new hardly working or J&A. I couldn't even tell you how I started watching, just clicked somehow and ended up getting into ch.

I guess CH was pretty big on the "early" internet. Them and waytoomany/break were the big aggregators of the day if you wanted to see the latest parkour videos and get your little dong hard to pictures of college chicks making out. The first J&A video I saw was Smoking is Cool and I remember thinking it was the funniest shit I had ever seen. "Half backwards" "You owe me two cigs". Those were the days. I used to go to jakeandamir.com and scroll through every post on the site. I remember losing my mind when they made jakkeandamirdidthisworkhowdoihitsendisthisanemailjakke.org like that was the craziest bit I had ever witnessed. Feels bad to be old.
