Series or the film

pirates of the caribbean sea

The last episode of north water was atrocious

No it wasn't

literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen

but the scene where the drug the girl and rape her was kinda sexy in a horrifying way

Black Sails.

It's better than The North Water or The Terror.

Are they gays in The Terror? The captain? Captain Gayhab?

Yes it was

Gays tho

the last episode brings it all together, especially the outro.

He already said no first

North water fell apart in the second half. It started hopefully but just fizzled out

The finale was the epitome of schlock TV to wrap up all the loose ends

>well we'll be aallright

It by no standard is.

Down Periscope was unironically great and holds up well

cringe

based

>Le "man of few words" who never shuts up is scary and intimidating but never does anything scary or intimidating except being drunk and just killing some cabin boy

Honestly was expecting more

incorrect. the show was a transition from civilization to savagery to civilization to the middle ground between the two, that justifies it all.

You're a man of few memories because Drax kills someone in the very first episode which shows the viewer that he lacks morals and therefore should be feared by the other characters in the show.

Wasn't Collin Farrell raping everyone?

yes dude it was
the lead was a wormy cunt
chad farrell's sheer audacity of a performance was so fucking kino I beared through it

>show was a transition from civilization to savagery to civilization

Not really. All the characters were just as civilised and scummy as they were before the shop sunk as they were after. Really basically only Drax was depicted as consistently immoral through all 3 of your listed stages. The rest were all fairly civilised and certainly not savage despite their predicament. It still didn't do much with it though.

Is The North Water the winner of /tvs peak kino award 2021?
It gets my vote

straight up
dude it was literally a show about collin farrell bullying and out chading everyone

I second this

drax was presented as the honest liar, the savage who would say or do anything to continue his ride through life, in opposition to the people sumner had to deal with, the commanding officer who sacrificed his regiment for personal gain, the shipowner who ordered two ships scuttled to collect insurance money. he was there to be the worst of humanity, a complete and total animal, but also better than people who operated under the pretense of being civilized. and sumner is the man who skates in between both extremes.
