Not scary. Not in a tiniest bit. People just pretend to be creeped out this shit, just like they did with marble hornets 10 years ago.

I thought it was pretty well shot and had a lot of kino elements. There should've been more creativity involved. The idea that backrooms have creatures from otherworldly dimensions, some of them from other universes and they got stuck there too would be interesting.
Is that trollface?
seething horrorfag upset his entire genre got embarassed by an amateur
They should have just focused on exploring the environments, but they should not have shown the monster directly, maybe imply that something else is there (creepy sounds are heard off in the distance etc).
Uh, user, you have to watch it with an open mind. If you fail to check your preconceptions at the door, it's just gonna bounce off that thick skull of yours.
To be fair when watching it you don't get a good look at the monster which lets your imagination run wild. But if you pause it, that exposes that it's just a badly constructed animation
>it should've been a bone chilling slow burning waste of time where nothing happens
yeah
Stfu it’s fucking kino and I refuse to hear boomer arguments against it. Especially being made with 2$ dollar budget by a 19 yr old
>an original idea
>actually creepy in an interesting unique way
>horror comes from the endless inescapability of the situation like Chinese water torture
>interesting beyond the horror element
>tons of shit you could do with it
The age of the boomer body horror is past and the age of the zoomer cosmic horror is dawning
>IS THAT.... AN EMPTY ROOM?????????
>MAYBE EVEN... A LIMINAL SPACE?????????
>AND DOES THAT VIDEO HAVE... A BLURRY VHS FILTER???????
>OH GOOOOOOD IM GOING INSANE IM LITERALLY SHITTING MY PANTS LOVECRAFTS CAT PLEASE HELP MEEEEE
I looked into Backrooms stuff after watching this and the basic premise is good but everything else is fucking garbage holy shit, I'm glad the OP just remade it into his own thing. That shit reads like some fan fiction garbage put together by 12 year olds desperate to out-power-level one another or trying to make the most "epic" level or monster.
>an original idea
no. backrooms is ancient /x/ creepypasta stuff
>actually creepy in an interesting unique way
do zoomers really? its an empty room
>horror comes from the endless inescapability of the situation like Chinese water torture
lol, lmao
>interesting beyond the horror element
how?
>tons of shit you could do with it
and yet, he did this
bros
>A never ending purgatory where I will starve or die of dehydration at best, and go completely insane being trapped for all eternity at worst?
>That's boring. You know what this needs?
>A SPOOKY MONSTER!
I would love to see you fall into the back rooms and piss and shit your pants within 2 hours faggot
The main thing that threw me off was the shitty voice acting.
>oh god, this isnt real
>this isnt happening!
>*heavy breathing*
Jesus.
The back rooms aren't real, you fucking child. Get a grip on reality.
I do like the idea of running through an infinite labyrinth to escape 'something', but to actually show that something loses a lot of the impact.
After all, the scariest thing will always be the unknown since it lets the viewer think about what it could be. Sure it's possible to make a good and scary monster, but it tends to be quite hard to make something that is actually scary, often it's better to just hand that work off to the viewer.
ngl I peed a little
What would you say in his position?
