Wearing a suit at all times is manly
Reviewbrah is what a real man looks like
you just posted two men who display both (tng Picard only)
I assume you are talking about the James Bond archetype and not Pic Related.
depends
if you do it naturally and don't think too much about it, yes
if you're trying to affect being manly, no
It's easy for a man to bulk up and beat the shit out of people to get respect. It's harder for a man to gain respect purely through his dignity, authority, and intelligence.
Therefore, I respect the latter more, because it is more worth respecting. Any man can be buff and strong physically, but few men can be that strong in mind.
True Words.
I prefer characters who have a bid of both - but not to an extreme extent, like oldschool James Bond.
Patrick Stewart is the TRUE peak of masculinity.
Both. The Ancient Greeks knew it.
A Conan meets Dr. Xavier kind of character is too much. Borderline Mary Sue.
"le esteemed and enlightened intellectual" is overused and done to death.
I just want a He-man to club a sorcerer faggot over the head with axe, see his head split open, have his brain matter sprayed all over the screen, pure unadulterated testosterone and adrenaline, and absolute slaughter and carnage.
Chaos Warrior of Warhammer had the right idea. "You are what you do in life, and the Gods hate the weak."

The "James Bond archetype" is as much a reality as Superman.
I don't see a problem with a type of character that you can only aspire to become.
When was the last time you saw a movie and thought: Damn, I want to be like that guy?!
Modern movie characters don't inspire you for shit.
Name one Gigachad in fiction. Preferrably a protagonist. Or an antagonist.
ya like comics?
Savage Avengers, marvel recent Conan comic
28 issues of taking no shit
tell that to young Christopher Lee and Patrick Moore
Thanos
Conan is cunning and sneaky
