why are all the posters close-ups of hands?

To get people talking, making speculation videos, etc

trailer at superbowl?

Because they want to introduce dindus as slowly as possible to contain the rage.
A negro hand is not as offensive as a face, so they make people rage a step-by-step fashion.

>Galadriel in full armour

I think he meant Ar-Pharazon wife

Not the same Miriel, will be Tar-Palantirs daughter

Tar-Miriel then
>A black fair Numenorean maiden

few thousand years too early for them.

as long as they will have a scene of white Ar-Pharazon doe-dicking her it's ok

Hobbits too

the shire hadn't been settled til the third age yeah, doesn't mean hobbits just didn't exist at all.

Because Palantirs wife was never described they are using that, maybe they will make his wife somebody important from Harad or something, or maybe not

blue wizards

Has Amazon made to much of an investment for this to actually succeed? Current generation doesnt really care about LOTR and though the movies were financially successful, it wasnt marvel levels.

They can justifiably include hobbits, even if most fans wouldn't rather not
If they start playing key roles in Eriador or somewhere well that's a different matter and fans will be pissed
I'm totally expecting them to be just be comic relief showing them moving up from the south east and maybe coming across a blue wizard for some ebin LOTR callbacks

>it wasnt marvel levels.
yes it was, they made about a billion dollars each, so did the hobbit movies.

Look at the top grossing movies and you will see that they dont reach the same levels

if you don't think LOTR was massive you probably weren't alive when it came out.
