Star Wars Acolyte: "Variety reports that "Captain Marvel" lead Brie Larson is in talks to star in Disney's upcoming Star Wars streaming series for Disney+, "The Acolyte". >The series was announced at Disney Investor Day 2020 with Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland serving as a writer and showrunner. Headland has revealed the series would be a female-centric "action thriller with martial arts elements", and that it will take place during the late High Republic era. The series is expected to enter production in early 2022"
I mean Rey was the lead protagonist of the last trilogy, we have Ahsoka the main character of TCW, Iden Versio in Battlefront 2, we have Star Wars Squadrons, etc etc etc
I think girls are empowered enough. How long is this going to go on for? Inb4 incel, I'm just getting a bit annoyed at this excessive feminization for political reasons. I mean theres nothing wrong with female characters, but is it really neccessary to deliberately make your characters out of sync with the demographics of the fan base for no real reason forever?
All they have to do is cast attractive actresses and no one would care. But they refuse to do this for some bizarre reason, every new Disney Wars product has had raging from 5/10s to some extremely unattractive women.
Not to mention Resistance, Rebels , Bad Batch- women have already been equaled to death or disporportionatley shown in contrast to the male characters now. Isnt it even now? Why the need for continued disproportionate representation?
Mason Morris
>put women in positions of power >they make a bunch of shit about women What a surprise! The person who runs Star Wars is a woman.
David James
I don't care about having women in it, its just a bit disporportionate isn't it? I mean having women being "equal" in numbers is already a bit of a push, since its Star WARS, and WARS tend to be a bit more male, same as Star Knitting is moreso women in representation and viewer base.... however whatever, sure fine equal whatever, but isnt this getting a bit unequal and actually misandrist?
Cooper Cook
Like even the only human characters we've seen so far in Star Wars: Eclipse are women. It's getting a bit excessive
Landon Brooks
I wouldn't care if they cast 10/10s or cute girls like Megan, but they don't, they keep forcing ugly women.
Jordan Davis
Dude, you forgot Rogue One - another female protagonist. The ironic fact is that the gender ratio was never this skewed even vice versa in the first place, kek. Leia, Padme, etc were always prominently featuring
Brayden Thompson
Because males torrented too much the last 15 years. Do not reply to me this is the answer
Brandon Peterson
women unironically ruin everything, even things other women enjoy
Benjamin Russell
Isnt that what porn is for? To jerk off to cute girls?
Aaron Brown
So you're happy with modern films being filled with ugly people? You want to look at ugly people and only attractive ones for pornography? Retarded tranny.
William Jackson
women ruin the world
Lucas Long
brie is a woman
Kevin Edwards
>watching nu-wars shit What did you expect?
Chase Mitchell
I simply want my protagonists to be more relatable to me and more representative to their audience, or at least if its going to be unrepresentative then to be equity rather than superiority. I don't care if they are ugly or cute girls, I just want them to be good characters without forced "diversity" or whatever.
Thomas Green
because only sissies and faggots like star wars
Cooper Harris
how can you be so dumb and naive and yet get such fine digits?
Benjamin Ortiz
>Why is Star Wars so female-centric?
Kathleen Kennedy. She sold Disney on the concept that she could sell a series about aliens, space battles, gun fights and laser sword duels to little girls.
Asher Bailey
I don't, I want to watch gigachad and stacy BTFOing ugly basedboys and midwits. >m- muh repruhsentation!!! You sound like a nigger
Joshua Phillips
are you really that retarded that you think one cunt can influence whole company? filloni was doing this long time before SW was even sold to yidsney
Carter Ortiz
Sorry user, you're retarded
Hunter Butler
Was he though?
Caleb Howard
>I don't care if they are ugly or cute girls, I just want them to be good characters without forced "diversity" or whatever. stop drinking soi user, it makes you sound like a faggot.
Mason Jones
ashoka was 100% what you basedboys are complaining from episode one. faggot even had her time travel or whatever to push her in the whole sw timeline. Next she will prolly travel back into TOR to stink it up too
Lucas Hall
>I want to stare at ugly people! >You're retarded for not wanting to do that!
Daniel Smith
So what do you want me to say edgelord?
Kayden Walker
I want the characters in the new SW media to be more relatable to me and more representative of the audience than they are. I don't think its fun to have them unrepresentative disporportionately in favor of a different gender for immutable reasons. As to whether or not they're ugly or not, I am not really concerned with this. They all wear makeup anyway don't they? Not sure what the big deal is.
