But user, OP had seen him play wacky characters in Adam Sandler films before watching a torrent of Sopranos in 2x speed while playing Call of Duty, took him right out of it.

He was believable as the fuckup ex-con trying to get his life straight, but not the stone-cold assassin later on.
That's more a problem with the writing than Buscemi.

As much as I enjoy Sopranos I've always felt his arc didn't make sense. He gets out of prison and wants to get his life on the straight and narrow and the moment it's actually all setup for him to be a legit business man he just decides instead to beat the shit out of the Korean guy who was helping my him and become a hitman. Then when Tony comes and wants to know what the fuck buscemmi basically says he should have got him in the action sooner despite Tony trying to pull him back on multiple times before that. Just all felt so rushed like they had to wrap up his entire arc faster than expected

For real , if they thought bebop fans were rabid they are kittens compared to One piece fans...
