How did this man go from starring in kino like The Wire, to motherfucking Walking dead? Did he refuse the Hollywood Suck'n'fuck or something?
Seth Gilliam
Because he's not a very good actor
I saw his penis in Oz
It was big
Walking dead probably pays better. Also, he wasn't the star of The Wire.
He gets by on tv roles lay off
yeah but he was pretty cool on The Wire
he has an annoying face
Most obnoxious chatacter ever. I cheered when he died
RASCZAKS ROUGHNECKS
What's OZ like? Quality-wise, is it in any way comparable to The Wire?
yeah that was one decent dick he had there, no wonder he was my gf's favourite character
Starring in TV kino as a supporting actor is not a guarantee to be a career changer.
I saw the actor for Bubbles (Andre Royo) in a car commercial some years back. It was a non-speaking role lmao
wtf are you talking about? do you know how the industry works?
he's a jobbing actor, getting a part in long running lucrative series like the Walking Dead is THE goal. he's set for life.
>that episode where he turned solitary confinement wing into a 3rd world african country.
It's good but not as good. You need to suspend your disbelief A LOT and the later seasons are far from great. Overall its def worth watching
Its a comedy disguised as a drama especially starting in S3 and by the end, its a straight up cartoon.
He's a TV actor, they take what they can get.
A main role in a long running TV show that was at least one time very popular is a LOT better than what most of the other Wire cast did with the rest of their careers. Most of them are relegated to failed procedural pilots and one off guest appearances on network shit like Law and Order and The Blacklist lol
>a straight up cartoon
>You need to suspend your disbelief A LOT
so, pretty much like the wire, right?
Uncut too. Very surprising for a murrican
Turns out that is easy to look like a really good actor when the script is amazing.
But even more cartoony. They practiced A LOT of restraint in the Wire.
no, more like Days of Our Lives
It's a New York City playwright's version of a realistic prison after he read a few articles about prison reform
Lots of visible penises and homosexual relationships if youre into that
Other than Idris Elba who effectively got his own show (Luther), Jamie Hector who's in Bosch, Michael K. Williams who was in Boardwalk Empire and The Night Of, and Lester and Bunk who were in Treme, did anyone else from the cast get any decent roles? I have seen quite a few of them scattered about, but not in any particularly notable roles. The guy who plays Chris Partlow for instance is now a recurring character in that Wu-Tang Clan show on Hulu.
Ironically he was kind of like his character in the wire. He was getting annoyed that he wasn't given good storylines and that his character was a bit of a douche. He wanted to be one of the cool cops instead. I guess this attitude doesn't help you in your career.
