Pack up yer troubles in yer old kit bag,
And smile, smile, smile.
While you've a Lucifer to light your fag,
Smile boys, that's the style!
What's the use of worrying?
It never was worthwhile, so ...
Pack up yer troubles in yer old kit bag
And smile, smile, smile!

Nazis don't know about his bankai

quite possibly the single worst WW2 movie ever made.
not a single memorable scene in the entire flick, its just so, so bad.

honestly i cant even remember there were dogfights in this movie.
60 year old movies did it way better, imo.

Has he not the guts to say?

The dogfighting and the landing of the spitfire on the beach were both good. (And) at least they included Lightoller as a character

Balfour declaration was 1917.

His smile and optimism - present.

Because this movie was awful, it was rated PG-13, and there were NO BLOOD SQUIBS.

May be one of the worst war films of all time. It was about an EVACUATION, the one that PRECEEDED storming the beaches at Normandy. Everyone in this film retreated instead of staying to fight the Germans.

Founding of Israel was in 1948.

Not historically accurate Nolan loses points for not using the planes or the ammo correctly
Dunkirk really was a terrible WW2 movie

>Dunkirk really was a terrible WW2 movie
yep

Also, the real life event was way more grand in scale, with over 850 boats used: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Ships_of_Dunkirk

Nolan could've EASILY added hundreds of CGI boats in the background, but he's "anti-CGI" to his own detriment. Instead, his film only used 50 boats, which made it look ridiculous and pathetic. imdb.com/title/tt5013056/trivia/
