so they perfectly recreated young Mark Hamill... what does this mean for the future of Any Forums?

I suppose choose any waifu of yesterday. Soon they will not only be appearing in movies or commercials or clips, but interacting with you via AI in VR
Was this the same CG tech they used for the finale of Mando S2? Because it looked way better here, which is strange since the lighting was way brighter and there was so much more of him
>roasties are gonna use this on social media so they never age
they hired a guy who does deepfakes on youtube. he fixed the crappy job they did in Mando with amateur resources so they snatched him up. looks like it paid off.
We'll all be so atomized by then it wont matter
Pretty smart if true
so will malesties
man full face scans of all actors will become normal from now on. every new person they cast in marvel will have their face scanned on the off chance one of them has the staying power of Luke still being popular from the 70s. that way they can stop deepfake shit and just do convincing cgi. same with voice learning to replicate their voices
dark shit
yeah pretty sure they will just move into buying likenesses once so they don't have to hire actors. they will also do it to old movie stars so they can make sequels for old IPs and ruin them too.
they improved the face... but the voice is videogame acting tier
>deepfaking has come far enough to be convincing on a close up
>consoomers first concern is for Any Forums and not all of the terrible real world implications of a society that already falls for facebook imagepastas
that being said, it probably means actors signing away their likenesses going forward so megacorps can literally dig up their corpses and insult their memories for film-based profit ventures
probably because it's computer generated. mark hamill is no good anymore on account of all those cigarettes.
Its mark hamill reading the lines. They are just modulating his voice
looks like kevin sorbet
even worse, it means big names like Tom Cruise can sign away their likeness and never have to step on set. he'd just show up at the premiere 18 months later after some intern does his scenes for him
I thought this show was about Boba Fett? Luke is in it now?
just one premiere? if they own his likeness they could even release more than one tom cruise movie at the same time.
It looked like shit up close. From a distance it looked ok. I would have rather they just found a young actor though.
