>Second season has a subplot where time travelers are trying to stop John Connor from getting a taste for Terminator pussy.
Lmao, kinda weird.

Everything she touched back then. I'm not saying she was cursed, but
I remember watching this on some random chinese streaming site in like 2008
I remember watching the first season of this and really enjoying it a lot. Not only because the girl was super cute but because she was also a brilliant cast as a terminator because of her dead-face acting.
Actually now that I think about it the acting overall was pretty great.
Great poster. They couldn't get away with it today.
I like shirley manson in it
Yeah she was good, weird how she didn't really act much after.
>Lena
She did a great job as Sarah Connor and played it very well.
>Thomas
Perfect John, well acted.
>Summer
Cutest femterm I've ever seen.
Overall the cast was pretty good in that show.
Give me closure guys, I need to know what happened when John jumped to the future.
What happened with Mansonbot, John Henry, FBI guy?
I remember seeing an interview with one of the showrunners, he mentioned they were going to use the Brazen Head (T-800)
which was heavily implied to be behind most of the wars from the medieval period on.
This is one show that should be rebooted.
Absolutely nobody cares about Sarah Connor
Seems a bit out there to have a Terminator series that goes to medieval times. The time travel shit was getting confusingly convoluted even in the 2nd season.
Honestly, it didn't really need rebooting. They should have just let it go on a couple of more seasons. I still don't know exactly why it stopped, hell it isn't even that poorly reviewed.
Batwoman has 0 acting talent, 0 competent writers and isn't even a particularly novel concept in today's capeshit world. It sits on a harrowing 3.4 and is somehow on season 3.
But The Sarah Connor Chronicles is well acted, competently written and had plenty of ambition to take it's concept to unique places while sitting on a solid 7.6. But that shit gets canceled after 1 season?

Typed a bit too quick there.
Lena was really good, although I really disliked her opening and closing monologues.
Instead of telling us of her emotions and musings, perhaps she could...act.
Thomas was solid, and he got steadily better as the series progressed.
Summer was good, but she was great in Alison from Palmdale.
There are two characters that stand out for their "not great" acting, although that could
be more the fault of the script and direction, was Riley and the Aussie submariner who's
meant to be a tough fighter but looks like a 45kg model.
CW in 2022 is a very different beast from Fox in 2009. You'd have to murder the network head's only son to get cancelled after 2 seasons on the CW.
I tried to watch this but I can’t stand her, she’s not attractive.
I agree with you on Thomas. Looking back at it his weakest performances were by far the early episodes. He didn't seem particularly invested in John and I remember reading somewhere that he struggled a bit with playing a high schooler at his age but he seems to have gotten over it. By the closing point of the first season you can tell he's more into it.

Too many whites. And I am not kidding with you, if The Sarah Connor Chronicles was 90% minorities and Jon was a trannie you could bet your ass that it would be renewed for season 28 already.
Show should have ran at least a 3rd season but TV back in the early 2000s and earlier was 100% at the mercy of the network broadcast stations. They canceled stuff all the time and streaming platforms were not around to save shows or make more limited ep sort of small scale series. The show still holds up to viewing now even 10+ years later. I'd even argue it's better than some of the last shitty Terminator films
I mean ideally it would have kept going, but if we were to continue the story it would need to be rebooted with a new cast as they've aged,
moved on, command greater salaries, etc.
I believe the reason Batwoman has continued, is because it's cheap and it draws a relatively large crowd.
TSCC also requires you to think a little, which as we all know is usually poison for tv ratings.
That wasn't the issue back then. The retardation you refer to came several years later to network tv. The problem were the low numbers. Normies just didn't connect with the show. I was the only one watching from my group of friends.
>I'd even argue it's better than some of the last shitty Terminator films
That's not setting the bar particularly high, but yeah streaming services have saved a few shows I liked (even if it only was for a season or two) so they have their merit.
I agree with everything else though, the 00s was a weird time to make a series because even arguably pretty good stuff got canned for poorly defined reasons. TSCC holds up really well and I'd rather watch that than anything after T2.
Yeah, I wouldn't make any argument that they should try to continue it -now- to be honest, but they should have continued it when it was in it's prime. Like you said, the actors are too old, the majority of the existing story is forgotten and as some Anons have pointed out it got weird in season 2 but at least it did something different, and something that actually subverted expectations.
