I tell women that I take care of my ailing father (mostly a lie) and none of them have ever had a problem coming back to my place.

you realize television is not reality right? how boring would George be if he was a realistic character? no one can relate to George in such a capacity so he needs a girlfriend to be relatable.

Back in the 90s before the internet women didn't have much choice other than to settle with the first guy that they bump into.

CO-STANZA!

He actually made an effort to meet them. Showing up is half the battle. That he wasn't able to keep them very long is the real lesson here.

COSTANZA

>That he wasn't able to keep them very long is the real lesson here
Except he had the longest relationship out of the main cast and almost got married

>comedy show creates comedy by joining together two opposing things in a funny way

autists really aren't human

Having a girlfriend is not an achievement in the slightest

I sometimes wonder if it's easier or harder to get a job now as opposed to back then. One hand I can simply google and youtube anything I need to know about a position. On the other hand HR departments literally look you up on Facebook and LinkedIn to find out who you are and you have no accounts there they just move on to someone who does

10000% easier back then.
>send out paper resume, get a call back
>be knowledgeable and personable in interview
>get job
Now
>email resume
>AI program eliminates candidates based on age, race, gender, school you went to, gpa, etc
>human resources bitch at company weeds out the rest of the candidates they deem unworthy
>candidates that make it must go through social media profile lookups to see if there are any red flags
>psych interview
>2 interviews where they ask gotcha questions
>"sorry, we hired an H1-B visa holder"

back then any retard could get an entry level job. It was literally walk in and talk to the manager, firm hand shake meme or fill out an application and guaranteed a job if hiring. I was offered two jobs simultaniously and had to choose when I was 16 in 2007.

By 2010 the whole thing had turned into this

take out the ever having a gf part and thats literally me

>fiction isn't reality
>noo not the heckin hollywood it HAS to be real!

It’s because he’s charismatic enough to get stupid women. He is also a habitual liar

It's very easy in NYC.

And that could've been every bald fuck up on Any Forums in the 90s.
Now the internet exists :(

tell me about new york. regale us

I don't have FB or Linkedin but I have still gotten most jobs I applied for

more women than men
more people in general
white guys with a stable okay job are few and far between
most women over 30 focused on their careers so they're kinda desperate

i'm not from NY, just have known people who are.

I made my GED in photoshop which was the only actual requirement for my position and got vouched for by the guy who wanted to hire me, who I met while bartending. I'll never reach the upper echelons but I make $80k a year doing "admin" at an engineering firm and they love me.

Don't forget the pre-interview phone interview and video interview! And timed questionnaire!

>tfw got thrown out of a job interview for being drunk and swearing at the guy
