Can a movie ever be as scary as pic related?
Can a movie ever be as scary as pic related?
Gee, I wonder
Watch the movie
Experience it for real
Yes movies also have jumpscares.
I felt like the game could have been cut down by a quarter or maybe developed more so that the second half didn't feel like it was dragging on with more of the same.
It was excellent but it seems like they could have changed something up.
Either way i'm not complaining really. It was more than worth the money.
I wish the same dev team would make a sequel that was more in style with Aliens just so we could have 2 great but different films and their respective game "sequels"
The only thing that isn’t authentic to the movies in the entire game is the beacon in the ship, the entirety of the game is the closest I’ve ever seen to recreating a movie universe in a game.
I want a sequel that is the same concept but for Prometheus.
If the devs could get so much right with this, I want to see what they can do with the Engineers.
>Yes movies also have jumpscares.
alien isolation is not a jump scare.
it is the most terrifying piece of art ever produced by man.
it is a masterpiece, and it proves beyond all doubt the inferiority of cinema as an artistic medium.
>xenomorphs can now survive in space
Game was great until that shit.
The reason we didn’t get a sequel is they fear it.
Extremely based post
Wtf makes you think it can’t survive in space?
>it is the most terrifying piece of art ever produced by man.
Thats delusional, the game was just fine.
Alien isolation isn't even a scary as the RE2 remake, which also isn't scary.
thats always been part of their lore
The end of the first movie.
And?
the novels....has anything ever contradicted that they can survive in a vacuum?
Huh?
ah fuck, my bad. sorry, i responded to the wrong post.
In the end of the first movie the Alien is jettisoned out of the ship then is blasted by the ships jets where it floats away.
None of this indicates it CANT survive in space, simply that they got rid of it like throwing a spider out of a car.
>when you enter the hive
The alien dies like Kars from JoJo. It just floats off into space and can't do anything else. Even if it goes dormant like a tardigrade it's been defeated.
>play the game on highest difficulty
>rage quit after an hour
There’s no indication it dies just that they got rid of it
It even seems to imply it’s not over until they hit the jet, since it’s clinging to the ship with its tail.
It's a good game. At first when I played it I found it to be more annoying then anything else. The biggest problem with the game is the alien AI. It's tethered to you and goes around in circles around while you progress through the game. I found it more tedious and time consuming always waiting for the alien to get pass you. Once you figure out the pattern it's not too bad. At the end I had almost everything maxed out because it was easier to wait for the alien to just pass you. Then I installed the unpredictable AI mod and it really improved the game. It made it more challenging and scarier since you never knew where the alien was at. Sometimes this made the game too easy and at other times really challenging. I recommend anyone to install the unpredictable AI since it fixes the biggest issue of the game.
That's what I was saying based autist. Kars is basically invincible and while he freezes he doesn't actually die, he just floats off into the void and eventually stops thinking.
