Why won't Netflix sell their original movies on DVD so that people who don't want to subscribe to a streaming service can also enjoy their quality content and give them money?

The DVD would cost more than a Netflix subscription, which gives you access to thousands of movies. Take a free trial, or sub for one month then cancel it.

it would dilute the brand. The only do it for some movies because criterion brings some "prestige"

The DVD gives you a license to watch the movie in perpetuity and more importantly lets me watch it on a TV that doesn't watch you

I'm assuming you already own a phone?

why would you assume that
not everyone here is a dumb phoneposter you know

Hulu released their Catch-22 mini series on to DVD, I was pretty appreciative of that.

This movie any good?

Kek.

Its an alright action flick. I watched it because Winstead is hot and I want to see her do action scenes while hot in neon lit Japan. However she pretty quickly got hard to look at since she becomes pretty fucking beat up and damaged troughout the movie.

Isn't it one of MEW's advantages over a blonde though that she has the kind of face that can be roughed up for action and look aesthetic and not hideous?

Just burn a VCD dude

I get it

i saw like a third of this and it was so fucking goofy and retarded kek

>muh license
Just torrent the movie, put it on a DVD and wallah you can now watch your movie wherever

>stealing
we need to repeal the 8th amendment and replace it with one that allows cutting the hands off thieves

Why won't you just pirate their content?

A DVD is like, what? 10, 15 bucks? They're hoping you subscribe just to watch that one movie and forgets to cancel, so at the end of the year you'll have given them over $150.
Also the logistics of producing fisical media are pretty annoying.
