The "Forever" makes it pretty clear it is pure nostalgiabait, if it weren't obvious enough. When Jackass was current, it struck me as the show enjoyed by the same type of edgy, middleclass white kid bully who wore JNCO and listened to Limp Bizkit.

Why are Gen Xers aging so rapidly/poorly? Is it just me? Maybe it is just because they're the first generation to never truly let go of their youth culture, so they look particularly ridiculous keeping up the same behaviors and aesthetics into their 50's, but on a physical level, I've noticed they most of these guys look like absolute shit these days.
