he lit some swords on fire

>Why

The idiot duo forgot about him.

They kind of forgot about this God. When the books first came out I posted on some fan forums and there was a theory that in recent times he was controlling the Mad Kings such as Dany's father, hence he wanted to burn everything. When Arya saves the faceless man, she saves him from burning alive, and he revered to that as a sacrifice to a "fire God".
Magic is coming back into the world, and each path to magic is a path to a "God".

He was real, but he was wrong about everything and then he just kind of went away.

>i'm not sure god exist in the real world so the same applies to ASOIAF xd
>i'm gonna make people resurrect other people by preying to the Lord of Light tho.
>i'm gonna make Bran be able to use the Weirwoods Old Gods to time travel tho haha

Totally forgot about her, probably because she only showed up once. She's just another red priestess.

Don't know, maybe a god gathers more power if more people worship him. Possibly they're not really gods just people like Bran who want more power.

my theory is the gods are all like Bran they are insane bodysnatchers travelling through time

>the Lord of Light
Another unresolved plot point.

>Brothers without Banners are introduced
>disappear without a trace
???

In the books - as lame as it is - George is going to do the 'fantasy world is actually post apocalyptic high tech world' thing. So no gods just technology.

R'hllor is the primary antagonist of the entire saga. The night king is an avatar or "face" of R'hllor who awoke just before the height of Westeros' decadence (war of the five kings). The faceless men represent the "good" side of R'hllor and specifically trained Arya to kill the night king. HBO are planning a season 9 which will continue this story and will show the lion of night (another "face") awakening in the far East to finish what the night king started. You heard it hear first....

the night king in the book is euron greyjoy, the herald of the white walkers and the apocalypse

Yes, majority of the Gods were real.
Curse This kufar board.

Finga up da bum

Does the book differ from the tv show with this?

Shut the fuck up, imbecile retards
