RTD returning and the show being produced by Bad Wolf instead of BBC almost makes me hopeful. But only almost.

Is that actually announced, or is it fan theory shit

Doctor Who.

Does anyone else feel like the show should carry on with named seasons instead of "season 14", "season 15" etc... There would be less room for one off episodes (and you can still write around that) but let's be honest: It's less overwhelming to pick up the show with a named season than with "season 14"of said show.

Currently on Dalek. I can't remember why anyone was afraid of these retards.

lasers were scarier to the pre twenty first century mind

user, it's a family show. Only the 5 year old kids are scared of anything in it.

You would make a good Dalek, user

From what I heard the plan is 2023 will be a series of 3, 90 min episodes of fanwank for the anniversary, then the following actual episodic rtd series in autumn 2024 is going to be a reboot with a new first doctor set in another universe but modernised

also there is apparently no regeneration scene in the 13th doctors final story, they want to "bookend" 1963-2022. that's apparently what's happening, don't shoot the messenger

>also there is apparently no regeneration scene in the 13th doctors final story, they want to "bookend" 1963-2022
I don't believe it.

>don't shoot the messenger
tough shit

Here is what i was told
the 60th anniversary is a 3 episode farewell which supposedly features david tennant, catherine tate and matt smith all in different roles like spiderman no way home/marvel

jodie whittaker does not regenerate in her last episode

the next doctor is an incarnation we don't know the numbering of, he [HE] just appears. it's revealed in the promotion that he is the first one from another universe who doesn't know what the audience knows (daleks, etc)

>david tennant, catherine tate and matt smith
McGannbros...

apparently they don't have the rights to have him in a proper televised episode
