I WANT IT ALL BACK!

Is this better than Deep Space Nine?

Orders of magnitude so

>>in the glory days of the Any Forums republic
it was always trash

I watched the first few episodes and it wasnt very good.

Despite the drama over whether or not the producers of DS9 got the idea for the show from B5 or not, they're really different shows. Being set on a space station is about the only commonality between the two. You can enjoy them both for very different reasons.

Patricia's Patricians are still here, always ready to negotiate peace between /stg/ and /b5/

>I want to live long enough that they cut your pelvis off and put it on a pike as a warning to future generations that men can't be women and vice versa.
>Then I will look up into your cold, dead useless genitals and wave LIKE THIS!

Nah, there are quite a few. Mostly with the characters like how Bashir and Franklin are more or less the same character (Franklin is way more tolerable) and early Londo is basically Quark. The most glaring similarity is the war with the shadows/war with the Dominion.

Takes a few episodes to find its groove. As someone who's watched the whole thing, it's unsurpassed in sci fi.

Biggest blind spot of B5 is the glaring lack of a baseball episode. I think the closest we got was Sheridan doing some batting practice. Someone should have tried getting the various races to put together baseball teams for a goodwill exhibition match. Conflict obviously ensues, but it's resolved somehow by the end of the episode. Kosh, being the only Vorlon, serves as umpire.

That kira odo couple was the worst decision they made in the entire series.
Most likely some producers self insert.
The actor playing odo was like 60 or something.

>another /b5/ thread disappears into the night

It's been an honor, as always, gentlemen.

It truly is too underwatched

If it were on regular HBO or Netflix, it would enjoy a renaissance.

>Dammit it just doesn't make sense. How can Narn commit 50% of the crimes despite being only 13% of Babylon 5 population
>I could tell you Mr. Garabaldi but you might not be ready to hear it

the first season is ass. you can safely skip to season 2 then watch season 1 somewhere between season 3 and 4.

It's getting a reboot (unfortunately).
