I really wish the directing style was a little more mystical, otherworldly and whimsical. I have noticed this with many hollywood film series, but the first in the series or trilogy is always the more daring and interesting stylistically where afterwards the other films cater more to really kind of stylistic choices you would expect in mainstream hollywood films and are kind of bland I think.
