They were freed early on so probably, I think a lot of them just married whites or something, I have more white relatives than black. Most of them live in Maine which makes sense because both my parents are from there

My furthest back ancestors were all English merchants that came here in the 1600s to get rich of cotton/tobacco or to work the fields for those people.
