>in helsinki
I'm talking whole country

What goes up must come down

Why is this happening? If it was just a couple of countries you could blame a particular party or policy, but it's happening all over the world, New Zealand, Canada, Germany. I've heard people saying it's demand, but house prices are rising far faster than population so that can't be the whole truth.

>by the time I will be able to move to the US the houses will be way too expensive
why even live

463k average for all houses
and 503k average for new houses

Across the country, the average price per square meter of old detached houses was EUR 1,751 in the first quarter of 2021. In the Greater Helsinki area, the average price per square meter of detached houses was EUR 3,555. Elsewhere in the country, the average price per square meter was EUR 1,606.

The rent is also increasing at astronomical rates all over the US.
House prices are ridiculous everywhere right now. Why does it feel like something bad is going to happen?

>he doesn't understand that capitalism is just an excuse for to make the rich richer and the powerful more powerful all the time
lmao git gud kid

This is obviously unsustainable. Only thing left to see is whether it stops with a crash like 2008 or not

interest rates are low. imagine this, the price of real estate is relative to the amount of money people have that they can compete with each other. if everybody who wants to buy a house suddenly has an extra 100k that the bank is willing to loan them, what happens?

Not yet

i pay 300 dollars for rent and it would cost 40k dollars to buy where i am living right now. How easily could I save 40k dollars in the US?

the masses aren't allowed to own shit
now get in the pod or move into the countryside in the middle of fucking nowhere

My rent went up to 1900 a month so good luck.

Because everyone is moving to the cities and construction companies can't keep up with demand

>1900 a month
fucking what

your net salary has to be 7600 dollars to justify that.

Rent in the US for 1 bed is usually like 600-1000.

The only good thing about Eastern Europe is that housing is still relatively affordable
